Springland Kids and Youths Foundation is a leading non-governmental charitable organisation headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, that is tirelessly committed to the empowerment and upliftment of the nation's children and youth. Our goal is to ensure that every child, regardless of their socio-economic status, has the means and the opportunity to thrive.
At the heart of our service is a deep passion for nurturing an appreciation for formal education and fostering a strong reading culture. To realise this, we establish easily accessible reading rooms and libraries within communities, providing a treasure trove of knowledge for eager young minds. Our belief is that literacy is a foundational skill that opens up a world of possibilities for learning and growth.
We understand that access to basic necessities is a prerequisite to education. As such, we provide essential items such as food, clothing, and books, ensuring that children can focus on their studies without the burden of unmet basic needs. Moreover, we extend scholarships to promising and deserving students, further lowering the barriers to education.
However, our mission goes beyond academics. We also strive to instill leadership skills and a sense of good citizenship among the youth. Through character-building activities, leadership seminars, and citizenship programmes, we mould them into future leaders, ready to take on the mantle of making our world a better place.
Our goal is to reduce the number of school dropouts, particularly in rural communities, by offering guidance and counselling, scholarships, and essential supplies. We believe that each child, whether indigent or privileged, has the potential to lead and create change. Hence, we strive to raise a generation of true leaders who are not only academically proficient but also socially responsible.
